Teacher's Day Gifts from the boys

For this year's Teacher's Day, the kids did magnets & coaster for their teachers.

We have been teaching the kids to be appreciative towards their teachers & teaching assistants since day 1, so this year is no exception...

For Christopher, he made heart shape magnets for all the female teachers & coasters for all the male teachers.

Well, he most of them himself including writing the card...

Can see that his writing is not up to expectation but hey...I gotta give him credit for putting the effort to do it himself!

This special set is for his home room teacher, hence have a magnet & a coaster...

These coasters are for his male teachers...very colorful...

These are for the female teachers...

For the past years, I always help Constantine to make all his gifts...so this year, I asked him to make it himself since the younger brother is making his on his own!

Not too bad...the design is more structured...

These coasters are for male teachers...

And these are for female teachers...

From this, we can see that both brother are really different in terms of creativity.

Older brother is more structured in his work, maybe it is because he is older.

Younger brother is all about randomness! He likes colorful things & he actually took time to make it a random pattern! 😂😂😂

Event @ Atria Shopping Center, PJ

This is our 1st doing event at Atria Shopping Center PJ

The event was from 10am - 10pm...longest event so far for us...luckily it was only for 2 days...it was too taxing for us...the hours were too long...have to admit that I'm getting older as I got tired before the event was over...😭😭😭

Event @ MVEC

Ok...today, I will try to post all the past events that we have participated...

So bear with me with the old blogs yea...😂😂😂 I'm trying to 'chase' my blogs out of Draft...blogs will be posted in no particular order...just what I can remember...😂😂😂

This event was held in September 2015, at Mid Valley Exhibition Center in Malaysia...

The focus of this event is to promote Magic Nuudles product. A little brief about Magic Nuudles...this product is by far the safest material that I have come across...

As a mother of 3, I'm very particular with materials that my kids handle, especially during their young age between 2-3...they basically will try to put everything they found into their mouth!

So, when I was introduced to this product, I was ecstatic!

This product is so safe...you don't have to worry the kids will put into their mouth! It is made from the finest corn starch, food coloring & water...making it not only safe for kids to handle, also very friendly to the environment...

This product is by far my most popular craft for the younger kids aged 2-5...

If you need additional information about this product, you can visit www.magicnuudles.net or contact us if you are from Malaysia, as we are the authorized distributor in Malaysia.

This is our setup...

We also made some samples...

We have the car, penguin, underwater World on 1 side...

And since it is very close to Halloween, we also made a sample based on Halloween theme...

We made the pumpkins, treat or trick basket, a spooky house, a spooky tree & an owl...

All in all, the event is a good exposure for us to debut the product to the mass as it has always been promoted in our craft center only. With this event, more public is aware about this product & hopefully schools will also be interested in this product!

Oh, apart from Magic Nuudles, we also made about 2,000pcs magnet of the event organizer's logo...as part of the sponsor for door give...

They liked it! Yay!

Another satisfied customer!

1st Holiday Program (8th - 11th June 2015)

This is the 1st school holiday prgram that we participated in, in collaboration with The School, where our flagship center is located.

It was tiring yet fun! This is our 1st time handling so many kids at one time!

But when we see how focus they were in completing their craft, it was worth all the tiredness!

There were split into 2 age groups:

The 1st group that we managed were 6-9 years old, so we did Perler Beads Magnets...see how attentive the kids were...so satisfying!

This is for the younger kids age 4-6. For this group, we did Magic Nuudles...we had a little challenge with this group as some of the younger kids were very cranky. I think it is because they were tired as they have had a long day & craft was the last activity of that day plus it was almost 4pm. So everyone of them were kinda tired...but they did manage to complete the craft...so it was still ok!

Things we can make using flowers...

Yesterday my eldest son told me that this Thursday, his school is having Teacher's Day celebration. As usual, he wants to give his teachers something...so I thought ok, why not? So, I asked him how many teachers & he replied 12... I was like WHAT? 12 presents in 1 day time??? Best when he told me he is going to prepare cards for the teachers as well. He said proudly that he had finished 1 card...in 1.5hrs time...so, I asked him how long does he think he will need to prepare the rest of the cards? After some quick calculation, he got panicked as he knew he is not going to be able to finish all the cards in time. So, I suggested that he does it on the computer instead...luckily, he managed to finish all the cards today before bedtime...then it is my turn to help him decorate it & print it out.

Sometimes, I wonder whether my kids are testing my 'super power' or they really think I am a Magician...I'm a handy crafter...all my masterpieces are handmade & it needs time...guess they won't understand it...lol

Anyway, with the limited time frame, I have to come out with 12 presents...in 1 day time...after some thinking, I've decided to try something new, with my newly found 'toy'...I bought some magnets last weekend, not knowing why but I just bought it...maybe the universe knows I will be needing this...LOL...and thank god for it too...otherwise, I won't be able to prepare 12 presents in 1 night!

Ok, this is what we made...

Isn't my son sweet? He personalised all the messages to his teachers...

Alright, time to eat my dinner, or more like supper since it is almost 1am now...and then, I'll be off to bed...nighty night!
