Friendship Party Princesses Collection - Bag Charm/Keychain

After completed the plush version of the Friendship Flower Fairies Collection, I am off to make the Party Princesses range.

Basically, these are smaller in size compared to the Friendship Flower Fairies Collection plush, and if you notice, these are without the legs.

One range is similar with the Friendship Flower Fairies Collection, but without the wings. And the other range is in different colour outfit but same designs.

These are the range similar with the Friendship Flower Fairies Collection:

Sue - Front & Back

Alice

Iris

Jo

And these are based on the Seasonal theme:

Sue, in Autumn themed colour

Alice, in Summer themed colour

Iris, in Spring themed colour

Jo, in Winter themed colour

For these 2 collections, I made them into bag charms/keychains...

Can you guess who is who? :D

Our Very 1st Crochet Fun Camp :D

Our fans have been very kind to us all this while. They have been providing feedback & suggestions in order for us to improve.

Many had requested for workshops, so, we have decided to make it happen this coming December! :D

We will be organizing our very 1st Crochet Fun Camp from the 15th - 19th December 2014 at KGNS, Kelana Jaya. We have 2 time slots: 9am - 12nn or 1.30pm - 4.30pm. For parents who require late pick up after the camp, we can accommodate as well, but please inform us upon sign up.

Throughout the 5 days fun camp, we will be creating at least 5 masterpieces. We are confident that everyone will have loads of fun doing it as well. Hint: some of the masterpieces will be Xmas presents for daddies & mommies! :P

We also encourage campers to come in pairs....what better way to enjoy something fun with someone you are close with, right? We will be giving a 10% discount for those who come in pairs or group. you can come with your parents, kids, siblings, relatives or friends. there is no restriction!

We only allocate 20 places for each session. This is to ensure quality interaction between the campers & instructor. No, you won't be watching the instruction from the YouTube! Yes, you will have to have face to face interaction throughout the camp! :D

So, call us @ +6012 209 0906 to book your place NOW...
A little introduction of the instructor: Joey is a mother to 3 wonderful kids who designs, crafts & sells beautiful items out of yarns. Her dream is to re-introduce Crochet as a fun & yet relaxing activity to everyone who is interested. She was a business development professional, and now in the midst of pursuing her dream, one baby stitch at a time. She holds a Certificate of Good Conduct, issued by the MOFA Malaysia. Joey created the brand "Designed With Passion". As the name says it, this is where all items are carefully designed & hand-crafted with lots of patience, passion & love, for she believes everyone is special & deserve all the special attention!

Presenting...the Friendship Kokeshi Dolls...

After my 'success' in my experiments doing kokeshi dolls, I finally made 4 dolls with big eyes, as suggested by a lot of my male friends...LOL

So, here it is...

From Left to Right...
Blue doll - Sue
Pink doll - Alice
Purple doll - Jo
Orange doll - Iris

Four of them are best friends & they are very close to each other's heart...as you guessed it, Jo is me...Sue, Iris & Alice are my best friends since secondary school...

Ever wonder why Sue is Blue, Alice is Pink, Jo is Purple & Iris is Orange? Well, I didn't decide the colors...they chose the color themselves. But from the color itself, we can guess the character of the 4 friends...:)

Let's look at the colors & their meaning...
Blue - friendly, peaceful, loyal, sincere and trustworthy
The Sue that I've known is friendly & she is always at peace & very calm when handling any situations. She is definitely trustworthy & loyal...be it with her friends or work...

Orange - energetic, warmth, joy, enthusiastic and sunshine
Iris is always the happy-go-lucky girl & she loves the sun! What does that tell you? :)

Pink - love, tender, romantic, charming & approachable
Alice is quiet but she is very charming in her way. She is my longest known best friend! Many often mistaken her as shy due to her quietness, but once they know her, they will see that she is friendly & very approachable. She always has a way to charm everyone she meets too!

Purple - royalty, nobility, elegant, power, and ambition
That's me! Very ambitious & love power. Not sure whether it is a good thing or not...LOL

The dolls are so adorable that I have to continue!

I even made them outfits in 4 seasons theme: Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter. Do you know which one is Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter? :D

Well, Spring is always related to Cherry Blossom & sunny days, so it is Pink. Guess who likes Spring?

Then, Summer is hot & bright, so it is Yellow. Guess who is Summer?

Leaves turn Orangy during Autumn, so it is Orange. And, Winter has snow & often, snow is associated with Blue...

OK, time to reveal the answers!

Iris chooses Spring...

Alice chooses Summer...

Sue loves Autumn...

And Jo loves the snow, so she chooses Winter...

How do you identify the dolls you ask...

Well, it's easy! Just look at their hair...

Sue always ties her hair up with 2 buns, Alice always has a flower clip on her hair, Iris will put on her ribbon & Jo will tie her hair in a bun with flowers...that's how you identify them...:)

Bears friends forever!

Who wouldn't love a bear?

It started off with the bears I made for my eldest son, Constantine's friends as a graduation present (you may refer my post in year 2012). Then Christopher, my younger son wanted an Orange bear, so I made him 1. And then Constantine wanted a green bear of a bigger size. Seeing his brother got a bigger bear, Christopher wants another Orange bear of the same big size as the brother's.

After I completed the green bear & the orange bear, I started to crochet 2 bears for my girl, Annabelle (latest addition to the family). I chose Purple & Maroon. I also added bells in the bears.

Seeing the little sister got 2 bears, the boys also wanted 2 bears each. So, I have to make a brown bear for Constantine & blue bear for Christopher.

Then I continued to make 1 red bear & 1 peach bear for my cousins' daughter.

So now, I have a group of bears in the house...each of them is about 13cm tall...

The bears are also available on FB fan page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Designed-With-Passion/172538912806601.

Don't you just love'em?
