32nd Craft activity (14th - 27th April 2016)

Last year when we introduced Doodle with Nuudles, it was a hit! It has became a very popular craft for kids age 2 & up! With the many good responses from customers, we continue to come up with more designs...we now have 3 tables full of displays with Magic Nuudles...

Ok ok...to refresh your memory about Magic Nuudles...this is by far the safest material that I have encountered...super love this material as it is not only safe enough to eat, it is also environmentally friendly.

Manufactured with only 3 ingredients: corn starch, food coloring & water...it is safe for children who love to put everything in their mouth...though we do not encourage it but in case the kids do out it in their mouth, all you need to do is let them drink lots of water & the Nuudles will dissolve! Wonderful, isn't it?

This year, we focused more on theme...as you noticed...most of our crafts now come with a theme...so here you go...

Have you wonder what would it feel like to travel with a group of wild animals?

Aren't these the cutest & most adorable insects you've ever seen? 😍😍😍

Some fun time at the farm, anyone?

Who's hungry?

Busy time at the construction site...

And, who wouldn't love a happy dinosaur...

So, which design you love best? 😜😜😜

New Craft Skill 2: The Journey Continues

Ok, after all the experiments, Im finally ready for the 3D version of the Perler Beads craft journey. For this, i referred to some YouTube videos to get some ideas on how to make it. This is the example that I followed exactly from the video:

The Piano...lovely, isn't it?

Then, I worked on these once I got the hang of it:

Rainbow Cake...a hit among the girls...

Hi-Tea anyone?

Tea Break for one...

Tractor...

Garden...

And my all time favourite...Horse Carousel at the Funfair!

This craft is so cool, I think I'm going to make more items soon!

Don't these coasters look yummylicious?

I love coasters, but I don't quite like making doilies as I think they are rather vintage & 'boring'...

So, I have started to experiment to come up with unique coasters...here's some that I've done & sold some...

1) Mocha & Oreo cookies coasters

Don't you just love em? Nothing beats a cuppa good coffee/tea with some delicious cookies...:)

Up-close...

2) Macarons Coasters

This is the second piece with different colors that I've made...the 1st color is in the following picture...

3) Swiss Roll Coasters

This is the 1st Pandan Swiss Roll I made last year...

This is what I made last week upon a customer's request to have a strawberry & chocolate Swiss roll...

And, a group photo for all 3 designs...

Don't you think these unique coasters will make your tea/coffee session more exciting? :)

I am so in love with these coasters that I plan to make more! :)

These cute foodie coasters will be made available for sale at my Etsy shop:
