Kid's birthday party 1

Planning a kid's full themed birthday party is really not easy...especially when it is organized by a very meticulous & fussy mom...lol

I 1st started to plan a themed bday party was when baby Constantine is 3 years old. I planned a Disney Cars themed bday party for him at Jarrod & Rawlins at Damansara Heights. Great place with good food & lots of space for the kids to run around. I prepared many Helium balloons of Cars & all colors used are those of Cars...

Too bad I don't have any photos to keep as the camera was stolen few days after the party...:( The 2nd themed party was for my younger son, Christopher's 1st bday...that was the most expensive themed party ever! But it is worth the investment, plus it IS his 1st bday party...

I organized a Winnie-the-Pooh themed party for him; not that he requested for one, but since I'm a huge fan of Pooh bear, it has always been my dream to have a Pooh themed bday party. Plus, he can't talk yet, so he won't be demanding a different theme...:D

With almost a full month of preparations, a little over-budget situation, sleepless nights, a lot of running & coordination works, & a few more white hairs; the end result was perfect!

Here's the preps...

1) The Invitation Card
2) The Songs
Ripped from the Internet...Total 16 songs...
3) The Party Bags
This particular design is very hard to find during that period. I had to buy from the Distributor of all these licensed character in Malaysia.
4) The Candle
This candle is also bought from the Distributor. Only 1 more left...I was very lucky I guess. Those currently sold at party supplies shop aren't as "Pooh" as this one...
5) The Napkins
Bought this at ToysRus...
6) Party Decorations
Thanks to me...These are my pride possession!
Self-made Banner with Christopher's name on it...
7) The Menu
Each table has different headcount & the guests' preferred food. So, I printed out the Menu according to individual tables so that the waiters & waitresses know who to serve what...
8) The Presents
Guess what is inside...:P
Then, I went to collect the bday cake & party packs...
9) The Cake & Party Pack
Sneak Peek of the cake & party pack...
10) The Setup
When we arrived at the restaurant, it is not open for business yet...anyway, I actually managed to convince the restaurant manager to close the entire restaurant for the bday bash so no other patrons were there...lol

The Balloon Buzz crews were already working on the setup...as the 'investment' of balloons were rather huge, they actually offered to do the setup on site rather than in their shop...Plus, they did not charge me additional for on-site setup & special transportation cost...really appreciate their effort to make it happen...:)
11) The Table Setting
While we were busy with the coordination work...we managed to get the bday boy to take a photo with his Hundred Acre Woods' friends...LOL...afterall, his name IS Christopher & after that, occupied him with cookies on his special seat while waiting for the party to start...
12) The entire setup is finally Done!
Did you see Pooh, Tigger, Piglet & Eeyore? :)
Pooh Corner!
Photo time with bday boy...
Did u notice the body tattoo stickers on our hands? I prepared those for all the guests...:)
Finally...the entrance of the bday cake...notice anyone missing? :P
Now, everyone is here finally!
Bday Song time with the family...
The party ends with a blast with every guests taking photos at the Pooh's Corner...afterall, it is paid for! And, each family got a party pack with Thank You Note & Jelly with them...
Did u notice Christopher's name on it?
You must be wondering what happen to Pooh's corner after the party? Well...
Home Sweet Home! The next 2 themed parties coming right up on the next post! :)
