Friendship Party Princesses Collection - Bag Charm/Keychain

After completed the plush version of the Friendship Flower Fairies Collection, I am off to make the Party Princesses range.

Basically, these are smaller in size compared to the Friendship Flower Fairies Collection plush, and if you notice, these are without the legs.

One range is similar with the Friendship Flower Fairies Collection, but without the wings. And the other range is in different colour outfit but same designs.

These are the range similar with the Friendship Flower Fairies Collection:

Sue - Front & Back

Alice

Iris

Jo

And these are based on the Seasonal theme:

Sue, in Autumn themed colour

Alice, in Summer themed colour

Iris, in Spring themed colour

Jo, in Winter themed colour

For these 2 collections, I made them into bag charms/keychains...

Can you guess who is who? :D

Xmas Present Exchange Party 2014

So, after completed all the boys' toys i can think of (the cars & the airplanes), Constantine told me he wanted to give his friend Damien a Blue Bear...hm...

A bear? To a 9 year old boy? I seriously don't think he will appreciate it...:D

So, instead of a bear, I've decided to make a car keychain/bag charm instead...not the cars that I've made as those are too big to be a keychain/bag charm.

Here's what I made at the 11th hour, this is by far my most stressful project ever as I was also rushing for the backlogs I have for the Xmas Bazaar next week. This car took no longer than half an hour, but the cross stitch was the killer...the cross stitch & stitching took me more than 3 hours to complete!

Completed product:

The car with button wheels...:D

This is how it will look like on the backpack or school bag...:)

Pretty cool huh, i think it is much better than a blue bear for a boy...lol

Oh, this pattern is inspired from the original pattern, but not exactly the same as i motified the back part of the car...you can find the original pattern here: http://www.lookatwhatimade.net/crafts/yarn/crochet/free-crochet-patterns/tiny-crochet-car-crochet-pattern/

The Expression Bears Bag Charms/Keychains

After the launch of the Expression Bears yesterday, I have made them to be Bag Charms/Keychains so that we can bring them along everywhere we go...

Here's the Bag Charms/Keychains:

1) Love, the Red Bear

Needless to say, based on her name, I definitely have to add a heart shaped charm on it...

2) Warmth, the Orange Bear

Isn't it a heart warming smiley emoticon...love the big grin...

3) Joy, the Yellow Bear

What would you do when you are happy? You dance to the music of course!

4) Balance, the Green Bear

The star has 5 points. It represents health, wealth, family, friends & self...if you have balance in all 5 areas, you are well balanced!

5) Peace, the Blue Bear

Dove is the universal symbol for peace. Hence I added a dove. Not sure if it looks like one...LOL...but it looks cute!

6) Faith, the Indigo Bear

Faith is when you believe, when you hope...I added a Four Leaf Clover to Faith, so that it brings you more luck & confident.

7) Passion, the Purple Bear

Passion is all about pursuing one's dream. The flower is my signature flower that I first made when I decided to pursue my dream, hence, I added it to Passion so that everyone has the courage to pursue what they dream of!

Do you like the Bag Charms/Keychains? Which one is your favourite?

These Bag charms/Keychains will be available for sales at my Etsy shop:

Let It Go...Let It Go...

My sons are into Frozen's Let It Go song lately & we have been you-tubing & singing our hearts out! LOL

It's kinda hard to sign without a lyric sometimes, so I downloaded the lyric for them:
The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation,
And it looks like I'm the queen.

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried!

Don't let them in, don't let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know
Well, now they know!

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door!

I don't care
What they're going to say
Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway!

It's funny how some distance
Makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can't get to me at all!

It's time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me I'm free!

Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You'll never see me cry!

Here I stand
And here I'll stay
Let the storm rage on!

My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I'm never going back,
The past is in the past!

Let it go, let it go
And I'll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone!

Here I stand
In the light of day

Since this is the 'season' for Frozen...I have to make something out! Plus, I have a request for it too! :)

Here's my version of Princess Elsa...she has thick hair, big eyes & she is only 15cm tall...LOL

This one with her hair at the back...

After making this, I have to make it into keychain/bag charm...you know, since I am hooked into making Bag Charms & Keychains so much...LOL

So here it is...smaller in size, about 13cm tall, with a pair of smaller eyes & longer but thinner hair...

From different angle...

I even made 2 snowflakes to go with it...cool huh?

Just to compare the 2 versions...

What do you think?

These cuties are available for sale at my Etsy shop:

The Cute Key-chain/Bag Charm story continues...

Today when I picked up Christopher from school, he mentioned *excitedly* that it was his friend, Alya's birthday today & they had a party in the school...then came the golden request...can you prepare a present for me to give her? Hm...I guess I should expect it already...LOL...

As I mentioned in my previous blog, after several 'surprised' & last minute requests from both of my sons asking for presents, I got smart & prepared some goodies & keep so that as & when there is a last minute request like this, I can just pick & choose. All I need to do is assemble it & viola! It is ready to go...

Guess who came to the rescue this time...

It's Ms Mini Teddy Monroe! I made her last month...If you notice, I usually will make bears as I find it is cuter to give bears instead of other characters...

Now let the assembling begins! I crocheted the alphabet A just now.

Then, I prepared the card & the gift bag...

The key-chain/bag charm is done! It only took me about half an hour to crochet the alphabet & assemble everything together!

Now Ms Mini Teddy Monroe is ready to meet her new owner, Alya. happy birthday to you Alya...hope you like the present! :D
