It's my best friend's wedding & he ordered a Pink Tulips bouquet for his beloved bride. I made him this, together with a matching corsage.
I added a Pink heart-shaped chain to resemble the love between them.
Also, I've added some Japanese Crystal beads to the bouquet.
Congratulations to Simon & Sharon on your wedding! Hope you like the bouquet!

Constantine's Graduation Gifts for his Teachers & Friends
This is the final year of pre-school for Constantine. Next year, he will be in Primary school. I have been thinking hard for about 6 months on the gifts. I want it to be something memorable & of course, lasts long...
Finally, I've decided to crochet again. And, this time, I'll crochet something especially for graduation. I wanted to do something cute, wearing a mortar board. So, I decided to do bear. It's cute & it's not that difficult to do. Just that I need to make sure it is unique enough for everyone. All in All, I've made 27 bears in 4 days.
First, I have to decide on the colors. Most of Constantine's friends are girls. So, I used many shades of Pink, Peach, Yellow & Orange.
And, this is for the boys...Blue, Green & Brown...
Let's have a group photo, everyone...
I also made one set without the mortar board for the teachers...
Hope their new owners love them!

from ME to YOU with LOVE
It has been so long since I last blog about my craft works...life has been busy...
Anyway, last April, I did my 1st pew bows for my cousin's wedding in Australia...it took me about 5 days to finish 20 pew bows. The theme color is Ivory. Hope my cousins loved them!
The pew bows traveled all the way to Brisbane Australia. I'm soooo excited!

Hello Kitty - Part 2
As I wasn't too happy with the 1st Hello Kitty that I made last week, I make another 1! This time, I made it twice the size, it's about 7" tall...
As for the eyes & nose, instead of stitching directly on the head, I crocheted it & then sew it on...
Hmmm...the nose is not so proportion...need more practice...
Oh well...I'll keep for future orders or give aways...:P

Hello Kitty, anyone?
BB Constantine got a bday invitation from his classmate, Audrey last Friday...
I've decided to hand make the bday present instead of buying off the shelf, as I always like things personalised...so, it is back to the computer, browsing for ideas of what to do...
I saw Audrey almost everytime when I send Constantine to school, talked to her few times...I noticed she has alot of Hello Kittys with her...the food container, hairclips/hairbands & she loves things pink as her beg & water tumbler also is pink...so I thought she must love Hello Kitty...
So, I decided to make Hello Kitty, but what to make? I only have 4 days to prepare the present as the party is following Wednesday...
Finally, after about 3 hours of browsing through images from the website, I came across 2 pictures that i like...1 for crochet & 1 for cross stitch...
Then, it is back to my threads & needles...
To be honest, this is the 1st time I'm doing Amigurumi, so was worried it won't turn out as nice...
After 3 hours of crocheting, all parts are done! Now, the most difficult part, sewing all parts together! And...Ta-da...
It is a size of my palm, so it is kinda mini...
For her eyes & nose, I don't feel comfortable sticking felt with glue, so I stitched on it instead. But the eyes looked kinda oversize...lol
Next, is the cross stitch...I first need to draw the outline of the picture...then, I searched for cute alphabet of Audrey's name...as I said, I want the present to be personalised...
This is the final product of the alphabet after selecting the rainbow colors of threads...
Then, it is the stitching of the rest of the image...took me about 2.5 nights to finish it...then send it to the tailor to help make it into a pillowcase...
Next, is the washing, drying & preparation of the bday card...
I prepared the washing & care instruction, for future reference...
For the bday card, I used black & white image of Hello Kitty, downloaded from the website & added in some text...
This is the original image...
This is the image after I added in the text & some flowers...
And, this is the final artwork...after I colored it...
And, it's ready to go! Hope Audrey likes it! :)

Kids Birthday Party 2
Well, as promised...the next 2 themed party was for Christopher's 2nd bday party & Constantine's 6th bday (the post was published yesterday)
For BB Christopher's 2nd bday party, he wanted a Thomas & Friends theme...but this is rather simple project as we did not throw him a bday bash...just lunch with grandparents...
The tedious part was getting him a real Thomas & Friends bday cake & presents...
The planning started off with getting the cutlery & bowl...which is really easy...you can get it at ToysRus...
Then I spent 2 full weeks running around trying to get the shirts for him & Constantine...It is really not easy as there is either no size or no Thomas shirts...Finally I found these at a boutique at Sunway Pyramid. Last piece...lol Now here comes the most challenging part...getting a cake custom make in less than a week's time...many bakery shops doesn't want to accept the order as the lead time is too short...finally I found 1 that is willing to do it...& here it is!
Photos of the Cheeky bday boy...
Screaming for Thomas... And finally the presents! Glad that he enjoyed it!
